Located in rural Uganda, the boarding school provides safety, a real bed, meals, comfort, medical care and education for 150 students.
Located in marginal lowland, the Munami Displacement Camp experiences severe flooding. We’re collecting funds to exercise an option to buy 30 acres of quality land in the area. Enough land to support 3,000 people. Learn more >
Our goal is to provide for all 150 students, school pencil boxes, packed with pens, colored pencils and markers, erasers, sharpeners, scissors and glue.
Durable 18 gallon plastic tubs with lids will allow the students to keep their belongings organized, clean, dry and secure. Have a few extra tubs? We’ll be glad to pick them up. And of course 100% of your donation will be used to buy new tubs to ship.
The Blossomwood Foundation, 501(c) (3), was established in 2014 by Dr. Vito Pukis, M.D., and his wife Dzene (Jenny) Juceviciute.
The Blossomwood Foundation provides DIRECT assistance to those in disadvantaged regions of the world. We are working with Roger Qualls and Rotary Club of Greater Huntsville to fill overseas shipping containers with school supplies and supplies for those living in displacement camps in rural Uganda.

The shipping containers will be here July 31 – August 2nd. We’ll need your monetary donation or supplies by Tuesday, July 30. We’ll be purchasing the storage tubs along with the school boxes and supplies locally.

The young girls, aged 6 through 14, need underwear (any color) and White Mid-Calf Socks (not tube and not ankle). These items were specifically requested by the school.
